Refund policy

 

Kit Only Purchases & Completing Your Order

Your impression kit fee of $50.00 secures your kit only. Full payment for your chosen piece must be completed via our website prior to returning your kit.

Orders where full payment has not been received within 90 days of the kit being returned will be considered abandoned and the kit fee is non-refundable. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before this occurs.

Change of Mind

Should you change your mind before returning your wax kit, you will be eligible for a refund minus the cost of the kit ($50.00) and any payment processing fees incurred on your original order. You will have 30 days from your date of order to request a change of mind refund.

Change of mind refunds are not available once your wax kit has been returned and your order has begun, as each piece is custom made to order. Please ensure you are happy with your wax print prior to returning it, as your finished piece will look exactly like your returned prints.

 

Faulty Items

In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if your item has a major fault — meaning it is defective, unsafe, or does not match its description.

For major faults, you may choose a refund, replacement, or repair.

For minor faults, we reserve the right to offer a repair or replacement in the first instance.

Please note that the following are not considered faults under our policy or the Australian Consumer Law:

        Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or failure to follow our care instructions

        Normal wear and tear over time

        Broken or damaged chains — chains are a separate consumable component and are not covered under our jewellery warranty. Replacement chains are available for purchase.

        Incorrect ring size where the size provided to us at the time of order was inaccurate — please take care when selecting your size as all pieces are made to order.

 

To lodge a fault claim, please contact us at hello@eviadesigns.com.au promptly upon receiving your order, providing your proof of purchase, photos of the item, and a description of the issue. We reserve the right to assess all claims before determining an appropriate remedy.

 

Returns Shipping

For faulty item claims, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us. If your item is assessed and confirmed as faulty, your return shipping costs will be reimbursed.

If an item is assessed and no fault is found, return shipping to you will be at your own cost.

 

Warranty & Care

As with all fine jewellery, your piece may show signs of natural wear and tear over time. This is particularly true of the print impression itself, which may gradually soften with regular wear and handling. This is not considered a fault and is not covered under our warranty or the Australian Consumer Law.

To preserve the detail and longevity of your print, we recommend following our Care Guide closely. Proper care will help protect your piece for years to come.

Evia Designs offers a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

 

Credit Notes

We may offer a store credit note at our discretion where a refund is not required under the Australian Consumer Law (for example, where a change of mind return falls outside our 30-day window). Store credit notes do not expire.

 

Gift Cards

Evia Designs gift cards have no expiry date and can be redeemed at any time. 

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. No change will be given on unused balances. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. No fees or charges apply after the time of purchase.

Gift cards can be used toward any Evia Designs product and may be used across multiple transactions until the balance is exhausted.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees do not have a set expiry date and apply regardless of any additional warranty or policy terms.
